Green Shishito chile peppers are available year-round with a peak season in summer through early fall.
Storage
Green Shishito chile peppers can be stored in a paper bag for up to 1 week at room temperature. For extended storage, place the peppers in a sealed container with a damp cloth and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. The peppers will also freeze well when placed into an airtight container or freezer-safe bag. It is important to note that frozen peppers may lose some of their flavor and texture upon thawing.
