Selection and Storage
When selecting Jonagold apples, look for those which are firm and free of bruises or soft spots. Store the fruits in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks. The flavor is best when eaten within 2 weeks after purchase. For longer storage, wrap each fruit individually and freeze until ready to use. Thawed apples can be used in baking recipes but not for eating raw.
